R.D. Home Inspections, LLC is a Maryland licensed and insured inspection company that was founded by Ryan Bausch in 2023. The company provides comprehensive home inspections and services to the greater Maryland area.

What inspection services do you offer?
We offer detailed home inspections, inspections for insurance claims (roofs/foundations/etc.), and chimney inspections.
How long are your home inspections?
We believe it should take no less than 3 hours, minimum to complete thorough home inspection on a dwelling 2,000 sq ft or less. Depending on the size and the condition of the home, an inspection could take 4 or more hours.
When will I receive the report?
Do I or my realtor need to be present for the inspection?
Ultimately, no, you nor your realtor are required to be there. However, it is always helpful to have one or both of you on site at some point to provide context for findings on an inspection and/or if we should need to get a hold of the property owner for any reason.
How much do you charge for a home inspection or other provided service?
Cost will depend on the service offered and the size and scope of the home. Please give us call to inquire for a quote.
How does your company inspect roofs?
While the standards of practice in home inspection do not require inspectors to walk a roof during a home inspection, R.D. Home Inpsections will make every effort to get on a roof in order to inspect it as long as the conditions permit it to be done safely.
Is your company licensed and insured?
Yes. R.D. Home Inspections LLC is a recognized inspection comany in the state of Maryland, licensed by the state (#35072) and insured to do business.
How will I receive my inspection report and can my realtor get a copy?
All inspection reports are delivered digitally with an option to view on any desktop or mobile device and download for printing or sharing. Your report will be solely for you as the client and anyone else with who YOU wish to share it.
What if I want to be present for the inspection, but neither I nor my realtor can make it?
We will conduct every inspection in a consistent and professional manner, whether you are present or not. We will contact you as you wish during the inspection or at the end of the inspection to brief you on any and/or all details of the inspection.

Ryan has always had a mind for efficiency, an eye for safety and passion for serving his country and his community. It was this combination of qualities that took Ryan on a 13-year, multi-career path where he was able to gain a unique and valuable skillset that ultimately lead to the foundation of R.D. Home Inspections.
Ryan is a 2009 graduate of Albright College in Reading, PA with bachelor’s degrees in criminology and Spanish.
Ryan's early career began as an intelligence analyst with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He is a 2010 graduate of the Intelligence Basic School at Quantico, VA where he was formally trained to be an observer, collector and reporter of gathered intelligence. Ryan's time as an intelligence analyst taught him crucial skills in data gathering, data analysis, report writing and briefing.
After retiring from the FBI in 2013, Ryan acquired a small business in the District of Columbia where he spent 10 years training, building and leading a full-time staff. Ryan's time as a business owner, employer and local community service member gave him unparalleled experience in communication, customer service, business development, community relations, and customer satisfaction.
In 2023, a long journey and a rich history of experiences brought Ryan to found R.D. Home Inspections, LLC. Ryan absolutely loves working on his own home and learning new skills to improve the quality of life for his family. It is Ryan's hope and desire to take all of his collective experiences as a seasoned business owner/employer and his formal training as an intelligence analyst in data collection and reporting from one of the most prestigious and trusted law enforcement agencies in the world to bring you security peace of mind when you choose R.D.
